Rialto Casino and Aspers: What Changed?

Two UKGC records, two different operators

The cleanest way to see the difference is field by field, on the same row.

That is the regulator’s own framing. The two operators have different jurisdictions of incorporation (Malta and Gibraltar), different UKGC account numbers, different licence references and different domains. Industry articles linking them describe a brand handoff for users; they do not merge the underlying register records.

What happened in April 2022

The 2022 rebrand is the moment Aspers Casino stopped being the active UK-facing Rank online property. WhichBingo’s piece on the change set out three key points: the old Aspers Casino website was given a new URL and name from 21 April 2022; Rialto was presented as the destination; and Rank Group was identified as the operator behind the move. The same article noted that old Aspers account login flows pointed users into the new context.

For the next three and a half years, the visible Rank online casino product for that traffic was Rialto. The Aspers Online (Malta) Limited UKGC account remained on the register through that period – but as a stale record, not as an active route. The eventual revocation on 1 December 2025 closed the formal authorisation that had been attached to that account for the Casino Remote activity.

The rebrand article is the natural source for users who want to understand the search overlap. It is not a source for Aspers Online’s current status, which is decided by the UKGC record, not by the 2022 industry piece.

Rank Interactive and the Rialto licence

Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited is a subsidiary within Rank Group’s online operations. The Rank Interactive UKGC entry under account 57924 lists remote casino activity, and the domain-names tab includes rialtocasino.com among the active domains attached to that account. Those facts identify Rialto as a current, UKGC-recognised remote casino brand under Rank Interactive’s authorisation.

Identifying a current operator is not the same as endorsing a current product. Rialto’s bonuses, payment methods, cashier rules, withdrawal speeds, app coverage and game library are properties of Rank Interactive’s current Rialto offering, with their own terms, KYC rules and time-limited offers. Anyone evaluating them should evaluate them against Rialto’s own current terms and the wider GB framework, not against an older Aspers Online review.

This page does not summarise current Rialto offers or rank Rialto against other operators. The point is narrower: Rialto is the current operator behind the URL the old Aspers traffic was sent to, and that operator is distinct from Aspers Online (Malta) Limited.

What Rialto sources cannot prove about Aspers Online

Several common search-result inferences do not stand up once the two records are kept apart.

• A current Rialto welcome bonus does not retroactively become a current Aspers Online welcome bonus. Bonus terms attach to the operator and licence advertising them.
• Rialto’s currently listed payment methods are Rank Interactive’s, on the rialtocasino.com cashier. They do not validate any deposit or withdrawal route for the inactive aspers.com domain.
• A Rialto mobile app or browser product is licensed under Rank Interactive’s account 57924, not under Aspers Online’s revoked Casino Remote licence under account 61021.
• Rialto’s current game library belongs to Rialto. Old Aspers Online provider lists in third-party reviews (NetEnt, Evolution, Play’n GO, IGT, Novomatic and others) describe the historical Aspers product and do not match Rialto’s live lobby today.
• Rialto operating in 2026 does not show that Aspers Online holds a current UKGC remote casino licence. Its account record settles its own status, not Aspers Online’s.

Reading the brand-name trail without merging it

Three names commonly appear together in UK searches around Aspers Casino: Aspers, Rialto and Genting. Treating them as one continuous entity blurs the licensing question; treating them as three separate records lines up with how the UKGC and Companies House actually record them.

• Aspers Online – Aspers Online (Malta) Limited, UKGC account 61021, remote casino activity revoked, trading name and domain inactive. The Aspers brand name on the GB online casino side.
• Rialto Casino – Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited, UKGC account 57924, remote casino activity active, rialtocasino.com active. The current online destination for Rank’s UK casino traffic that used to sit on aspers.com.
• Genting Casino Stratford – Genting Casino Stratford Limited (Companies House 07246090, active, with Aspers (Stratford City) Limited as a previous name up to 29 April 2025), operating within Genting Casinos UK Limited under UKGC account 537 for non-remote gambling. A real, current land-based venue.
